Stgermain

ABOUT MICHELE

Michele St. Germain has called Langley home for most of her life. As the daughter of former Senator and Member of Parliament Gerry St. Germain, she has built her own path while raising her family and staying deeply connected to the place she calls home. As a member of a farming family and lifelong supporter of local organizations, Michele brings a genuine desire to give back to Langley.

Over the years, Michele has worn many hats. She has worked as an office manager, run her own cleaning company, operated a bookkeeping business, and built a career in real estate. Her agricultural roots run just as deep — from farming seed potatoes and running a cow-calf operation to staying connected to the land through agricultural sales. This breadth of hands-on experience has given her a real understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing Langley families and businesses. That is why she advocates for responsible growth, sensible financial decisions, and a strong local economy — all essential to maintaining a high quality of life in the Township.

Michele has always believed in giving back. Over the years, she has volunteered as a Sparkies leader with the Girl Guides of Canada, served as a Sun Run Leader, facilitated a support group for women experiencing domestic violence, and supported local organizations including the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, and Langley Seniors Connect. She believes strong communities grow when neighbours look after one another and people have opportunities to thrive at every stage of life.

Family has always been at the centre of Michele's life. She is a proud mother and grandmother who understands the importance of safe neighbourhoods, quality schools, and parks where children can learn, play, and grow. Her lifelong connection to farming has also given her a deep appreciation for protecting Langley's agricultural heritage while planning responsibly for future growth.

Michele is running for Council because she wants local government to put people first. She is committed to supporting responsible housing, maintaining one of the region's lowest tax rates, protecting the Township's rural character, and ensuring Langley remains a place where families can build their lives for generations to come.
